Even though i’m not willing to get on the tool chest bandwagon i do like the coffee table idea. not sure the wife would be of the same opinion. i do keep all my tools in cabinets, behind close door – out of dust. your advice on a dehumidifier is excellent not only for rust prevention but for wood storage as well.. Okay, good stuff on rust removal and prevention. great if storing and not using tools. what does t9 do to wood you are working with, stains, effects finish, etc. same question for waxes. once rust is gone, rust is prevented, what goes on table saw and jointer etc. to avoid absorption into hard words and resulting mottling in finish when applied.. How to remove rust from your tools and prevent rust on your tools. my method of removing rust from cast iron and using teflon dry spray to prevent rust from accumulating on your tools.
